How Do I Qualify?

Membership Consists of three different types, Trainees, Ordinary Members, Clinical Members. Clinical Membership requires the completion of the Advanced Training Program with the associated experience of membership in a Therapy Group, Supervision and Group Practice requirements.

Recognition of prior learning, experience and supervision. These requirements are currently being developed. If further details required please contact the organisation for assistance.

The Certificate Course runs for one year and as the name suggests one receives a certificate of completion that implies training in group dynamics. This certificate does not on its own comprise a qualification to work as a Clinical Group Therapist although most who do this certificate will have alternative clinical qualifications enabling them to run clinical groups. Non clinicians who wish to understand group dynamics for other purposes would find the certificate course highly valuable and fascinating. Knowledge of Group dynamics has application in all types of organisational work.
